SQLPeople: Jes Borland and William McKnight

The SQLPeople website experienced a blip this weekend. I shuffled some interviews earlier and one result was the publication dates and integer keys on the tables holding the interviews got out of sync. As a result, Shahryar G. Hashemi’s interview was destined to remain on the front page and in the topmost position for a while. It was my fault – I had inadvertently coupled the order of publication to the keys and not really thought about it until the first “out-of-band” interview went live.

I fixed it, but the interview with Jes Borland (Blog | @grrl_geek | SQLPeople) was second on the list for a bit there, and I wanted to point out her (excellent) interview. She’s awesome – go check it out!

William McKnight’s (Blog | @williammcknight | SQLPeople) interview is new this week. He’s the author of my new favorite consulting book: 90 Days to Success in Consulting.

SQLPeople and the SQLPeople Event

The first ever SQLPeople event was held in Richmond Virginia Saturday, and it was awesome! More on this later…
