#SQLGive

The SQL Server Community is a giving community. Don’t believe me? Look at all the volunteers who facilitate SQL Server User Group meetings, organize and present at SQL Saturday events, answer #sqlhelp questions on Twitter and forums, and work behind the scenes to ensure a smooth PASS Summit, SQLBits, or other major conference. Face it, the heart of the SQL Server Community often outshines the minds – and the minds are brilliant.

SQLGive is yet another example. At the PASS Summit 2011 in Seattle next week, you can help some folks who are struggling with your donations to SQLGive. Kalen Delaney started this last year by collecting soap and shampoo from hotels to donate. This year, Chris Shaw and Kendal Van Dyke have posts about how you can help make a difference in the Seattle community.
