Details

29 Nov – “I See a Control Flow. Now What?” (Creating Your First SSIS Package)

In this session, I will walk through the basics of building your very first SSIS package. If you’ve never built an SSIS package but want to know how, this presentation is for you – and it’s tomorrow!

6 Dec – The Incremental Load SSIS Design Pattern

The Incremental Load SSIS design pattern is the classic approach to ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) that loads only new or changed data. this session serves as an abbreviated introduction to the mechanics of ETL using SSIS.

13 Dec – Flat File Fu

As the title suggests, we will examine data integration patterns for loading data from a flat file. I have a couple tricks up my sleeve…

20 Dec – SSIS Frameworks Magic

Just in time for Christmas, I break out some magic! This session focuses on the benefits and underlying code of an SSIS Framework.

Conclusion

I hope you will join me for these short MicroTraining sessions!

  1. Hi! How can I find your sessions on Google+? I have included you in my circle – is that enough? Sorry about dummy question, new to g+.

  2. Hi Stefan,
Google+ allows *some*metrics users to record their hangouts. I am not one of the users for whom they provide this option. :{\
