Azure Resource Groups Save Money

I delivered Master the Fundamentals of Azure Data Factory earlier this week and, as always, it was a blast!

My disclaimer slide proved accurate, once again. Anyone who works in Azure groks the maxim: Change happens.

Managing Bucks

Cost management in Azure is important. No one wants to wake up to a larger-than-expected bill at the end of a billing cycle! One simple way to manage costs in Azure is Resource Group allocation. When I deliver training or begin learning something new, the first thing I do is create a new Resource Group. As I deliver / learn, I add each new Azure resource to the resource group. Why? Because when I’m finished, I can tear everything down at once:

No more “Oops.”
