Laid Off? Or the Beginning of Your Next Opportunity?

Updates:

  1. The “opp23” limited-time offer has expired. I may make similar offers in the future. The best way to learn of offers from me is to subscribe to my mailing list and check the checkbox labeled “I would like to receive more information about products, services, events, communications, and offers.”
  2. If you signed up for this offer, your subscription will not be automatically renewed upon expiration. See “Update on my Jan 2023 Offer for Free Training” to learn more.
  3. If you signed up for this offer, you may receive a subscription-will-expire email prior to expiration of your subscription. The email will include a link in case you are interested in renewing your subscription at the current subscription rate. You are not obligated to renew your subscription.

Why not both?

My LinkedIn and social media feeds are filled with contacts and friends sharing their availability for a new career opportunity. While some are more gracious than concerned and others more concerned than gracious, it’s normal to be both concerned and gracious. Well, it was normal for me when it happened to me. If you haven’t been laid off before, I hope you never learn what that feels like.

If you have been laid off already, or if you’ve been notified you are about to be laid off, I encourage you to see this as the beginning on your Next Opportunity.

I hope you will visit the Enterprise Data & Analytics Premium Level page and sign up for a full year of access to all my Azure, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and SSIS Catalog recorded training… free.

To take advantage of this limited-time offer, please visit the Enterprise Data & Analytics Premium Level page and click the “Sign Up Now” button:

opp23 is the Coupon Code

Next, type “opp23” into the “Coupon code” textbox, and then click the “Apply Coupon” button:

Click the “Proceed to Checkout” button and you should be able to checkout for $0.00USD.

I can hear some of you thinking, …

“Why, Andy?”

I want to help.

I did not learn the stuff I know all on my own. I learned some of it on my own, yes. But not all. Much of what I’ve learned, though? I learned that from others. Some of the others from whom I’ve learned just lost their jobs.

I hope my recordings educate people.
I hope my recordings inspire people.
If nothing else, I hope watching these videos provide a welcome distraction.

This is what community does; we help each other.

So, why?
Because I can.
“I can” is a clue that I should.

Love yall. Holler (in the comments) if you have questions.

Peace.

  1. This is amazingly generous, thank you. I’m getting an error that the coupon usage limit has been reached though. Did I miss out? Thanks!

  2. Hi Andy,

This is a very kind offer as I am currently out of work and seeking a new opportunity but the code states it has reached its limit?

    Kind regards

    Stephen

  3. Hi, Followed the instructions and the code returns an error message ‘Coupon usage limit has been reached. Please try again after some time, or contact us for help.’

  4. Hi Everyone,

The “coupon usage” message is all my fault and has been corrected.

    I apologize for the inconvenience.

    Details…
I set the limit to 12 to test it – and it worked! I forgot to update the limit and then asked Brent Ozar to help me publicize it. Brent has a bajillion followers, and this happened.

To make matters worse, I was ill most of the day Wednesday, 25 Jan 23. I was unaware of the error messages until they had been happening for at least two hours.

Again, I am very sorry to everyone who encountered the coupon usage limit message. I promise I am better at data integration than WordPress.

  5. Hi Andy,

I am trying to reset my password and am not receiving the email to do so. I tried using the Contact Us page on the site, but it is giving me an Internal Error message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Drew
